mentally, where on the one hand the sky meets the sea in the West,
and on the other hand the sky meets a horizon of native plants in

the Unframed Exhibitions, as an associate of ArtEco: 1987 “Arts for the Forest” Assisting Christina McGuinness : 9x5 exhibition at the then F.T.I. in Fremantle. A great many of Western Australia’s best known artists created pieces for this exhibition. 2000-2002 Inaugural member of StArt: group exhibitions for charity and management of the Old George Gallery at the Royal George in East Fremantle to benefit emerging Western Australian artists. from 1993 (ongoing). Inaugural member of the Victoria Park Centre for the Arts. Many subsequent roles and still active on the committee. Cathy’s Own Work Cathy’s own work often involves fibre or found objects in some way. In the early 2000’s painting and fabric printing predominate, but though techniques change, expressing her love of Western Australian natural ecosystems is always at the core. If condensing fascinating concepts into visual form results in a durable object, Cathy believes it should be well-made, enjoyable, and recyclable -or compostable.
